Lucas Moura says Tottenham 22-year-old ‘has a great future’
Lucas Moura, a Tottenham Hotspur winger, has praised his teammate and Brazilian counterpart Emerson Royal in an interview with Sky Sports. Lucas is ecstatic to be playing alongside Emerson Royal at Spurs and has nothing but praise for him.
Lucas has praised Emerson’s potential. “I believe we’re developing a strong relationship,” he told Sky Sports about Emerson Royal.
“He is doing very well and he has a great future. It’s good to have a Brazilian in my side because we understand each other.”
How Is Emerson Royal Doing At Tottenham Hotspur?
In the summer of 2021, Tottenham acquired Emerson from Barcelona for €30 million. According to BBC Sport , the Spanish club received €30 million for the 22-year-old right-back. At Spurs, it’s been a rough start for Emerson, but there have been some encouraging developments.
In the Premier League thus far this season, Emerson has made 12 starts and one substitute appearance for Tottenham. In those matches, he has provided one assist.
Emerson has made three appearances in the Europa League and twice in the Carabao Cup for Chelsea this season. Emerson is flourishing under Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte.
Emerson has an excellent future ahead of him and will be a success at Tottenham, in our opinion. The Brazilian is only 22 years old, so the right wing-back position is ideal for him.
