Noodle is much wiser than Think-Tank. As the ruler of Mars, Think Tank is conceited, so he avoids offending him. He believes himself to be the most intelligent creature in the universe. So Noodle always makes his suggestions very politely in order not to offend him. He calls them ‘insignificant’. When Think-Tank takes books for sandwiches, Noodle corrects him. He says the Earthlings did not eat them. The Earthlings didn’t listen to them. They opened them and watched them. It is Noodle who suggests again that the space people should take vitamins to make them more intelligent. He corrects him again by saying that they opened them and watched them. Nevertheless, he always uses phrases like ‘Forgive me, your cleverness’ or ‘Please, excuse me, your brilliance’.
