  • On August 1, 2019, The cabinet of Netherlands imposed a ban on Burqa or niqab in public places, including public transport, government buildings and at health and education institutions.
  • It is not applied to public streets.
  • Anyone found guilty will have to pay a fine of Rs 28,000.
